Azerbaijani expert: Armenian defense minister has paranoia

"I think he should see a doctor if he thinks so,” Azerbaijani political expert Vafa Guluzade said commenting on Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian’s statement that Armenian army will become one of the strongest in the world.
"One does not need to be a military expert to realize that  Seyran Ohanian has paranoia,” the expert said.

”Ohanian does not decide anything. Armenia’s defense issues are solved in Moscow. Ohanian is only their henchman. His mental health is causing doubts. I have nothing more to say about this,” he noted.

On May 5, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said his country will not be satisfied with the fact its army is "the most battle-worthy in the region." The army of the country, whose population has yet reached three million, is going to become one of the strongest in the world, according to Ohanyan.

"Armenian army is overloaded with desertion, bribery, there's a huge dissatisfaction among soldiers and their commanding officers"

Head of the press service of Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, Eldar Sabiroglu commented on the strange statement by the Armenian Minister of Defence Seyran Ohanian that "Armenian Armed force must keep up with the strongest armies in the world".

"We've heard such comments before. This is a necessary step to hide poor conditions of their own army. Currently, armenian army is overloaded with desertion, bribery, there's a huge dissatisfaction among soldiers and their commanding officers. All of this has even been discussed at the highest levels. I'd suggest not to pay attention to such statements, since Armenian army is in a highly bad condition", said Sabiroglu.
