U.S. Armenians visit reproduction of Armenian Chuch in California

Armenians who live in Los Angeles, California react to Armenian diaspora organizations which oppose the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia.
The second Anatolian Cultures and Food Festival that is being held in Los Angeles, California as an initiative of Pacifica Institute, is being flooded by Armenian American visitors who welcome representation of Armenian cultural heritage within the frames of the festival. Learning about the festival through the reports in American media, Armenian Americans are visiting reproduction of the oldest Armenian church in the stand of Turkish city Van.
Two American Armenians who were born in Turkey, Silva Halici and Minas Urnecli were among Armenian citizens who visited Akdamar Armenian Church. Expressing their content on the representation of Anatolian culture in Los Angeles, they thanked to the officials of Pacifica Institute and stressed that finding Akdamar Church in the festival doubled their pleasure. Stating that they are towards continuation of the talks that was started by Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan, Halici and Urnecli reacted Armenian diaspora organizations which strain the relations between the peoples of Turkey and Armenia by bringing so called Armenian genocide on the agenda consistently.
