Head of Tuzluca Municipality Ahmet Sait Sabrettin Turkan said that a thousand of carnations will be laid on the Aras river for the memory of the people that are massacred by Armenian gangs on the 90th anniversary of liberation.
Organization for Fighting Against Baseless Armenian Allegations (ASIMDER) administrators Goksel Gulbey, Ali Ishak Altın and Murat Akkus stated that Tuzluca is one of the regions which witnessed the atrocity of Armenian gangs the most. During their visit to the head of Tuzluca municipality, administrators of ASIMDER stated that 7 people from the family of the head of the municipality was brutally martyrized by Armenian gangs. "We know that Mr. Mayor is very sensitive on this issue. We see that the studies of our organization over the baseless allegations of Armenian diaspora is being published on the website of Tuzluca Municipality and that shows how Mr. Turkan is sensitive on this issue. We have decided to hold a program for the 90th anniversary of the liberation of Tuzluca from the occupation of Russian and Armenian forces."

Turkan said, "Hunchakian and Dashnak organizations held unthinkable tortures and massacres here to establish their own national state. There are several mass graves from those times. In 1986, mass graves in Gedikli, Oba and Hakmehmet villages were found and announced to international community."
Reminding that Ottoman archives show that Armenian terrorist organizations held a massacre against the people of Tuzluca in 1919 and 1920, Turkan said, "Today you see that every family in this region had lost some member of their family. There are several eye-witnesses who lived those days."
