Russia could have played a more active part in both Karabakh process and turkish-armenian normalization process, according to Turkish ambassador in Russia, Halil Akinci.

“We believe, that Russia, as a country of the region can bring something fresh into the Karabakh negotiation process. I am saying this, because among all three countries of the MG OSCE, Russia is the only region country,” said ambassador during his interview to “Interfax.”

According to the report of Trend news, Akinci expressed his view, that Russia should play a bigger role in the issues mentioned. According to him these questions will be discussed during Dmitri Medvedev’s visit in Ankara.
