Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Ismet Abbasov is in Yerevan to attend UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) regional conference in Armenia.
Agriculture Ministry official Sabir Veliyev stated that 55 countries will participate to the conference which will be held between 13-14 May.
On the other hand, Karabakh Independence Organization issued an announcement that condemns visit of Agriculture Minister Abbasov to Armenian capital. The declaration stated that the visit of Azerbaijani Minister to Yerevan serves to the occupying policy of Armenia. "This is not the right thing to do. Armenia keeps our land under occupation. There is no use of such a visit at a time when Armenia declares that they will not return the lands that they occupied," the declaration said.
