Azerbaijani minister's visit to Armenia not to influence Karabakh process

E-mail Print PDF
The visit of the Azerbaijani minister to Armenia will have no influence on the Karabakh conflict settlement.

According to the report of ANS Press, political scientist Rasim Musabeyov considers that the visit of Agricultural Minister Ismet Abbasov to Armenia for participation in the UN session will have no influence on the Karabakh conflict settlement.

“The visit was not made to hold talks or restore relations with Armenia. This is not the first visit to Yerevan in terms of CIS-several representatives of Azerbaijan have visited Armenia ever since. Armenians have also paid repeated visits to Azerbaijan.

In fact, the visit of Azerbaijan’s agricultural minister to Armenia will not influence the relations between the two countries. Naturally, this visit will not be perceived unambiguously in Azerbaijan. Some will voice resentment while the government will continue working,” the political scientist said.
