Turkish businessmen call for opening of Turkish-Armenian border

Businessmen of Van call Turkish and Armenian governments to open mutual border as they will be able to establish commercial relations with Armenia afterwards.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Van (CCIV) and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Yerevan (CCIY) signed an agreement to establish cooperation between two organizations.
Stressing that they are towards opening of borders, establishment of commercial relations and normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia, Chairman of CCIV Board of Directors Zahir Kandasoglu said, "Trade does not have any race or religion. We want to establish commercial relations with Armenia. We have experienced some tragic incidents in the past which should not have happened. New generations condemn those incidents."
