Department of Culture and Social Affairs of the Municipality of Van has published a guidebook in Armenian language besides the versions in Turkish, Kurdish and English languages. It is reported that the booklet of 90 pages covers information about history, tourism, culture and economy of the city of Van. Internethaber reported that booklets which are brought to Yerevan during the International Tourism Fair in Armenia won recognition of the Armenian people.
Husamettin Ozturk, the head of Department of Culture and Social Affairs of the Municipality of Van, said that they have prepared guidebooks in 4 language to introduce the city to tourists. "As we publish guidebooks in Iranian, we will complete the set of guidebooks. These booklets will make an important contribution to the advertisement of the city. We are going to continue such efforts to introduce Van," said he.
