Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan stated that they will not let Turkey to intervene the resettlement of Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
Meeting NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen in Brussels, Armenian President hold a joint press conference in which he commented on the recent developments in the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia. "We discussed current process in normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations. Continously setting preconditions to gain time, Turkey did not leave any choice for Armenia other than halting protocols," said he.
Sarksyan told Rasmussen that Yerevan will never let Ankara intervene resettlement of Nagorno-Karabakh problem, accusing Turkey of working for the unsuccess of the Turkish-Armenian normalization process all the time.Stating that Armenia gave NATO the message of following a balanced policy over Nagorno-Karabakh problem, Sarksyan did not avoid to threat Azerbaijan once again. Sarksyan claimed that professional army of Armenia was born in the field of battle and they are ready to fulfill any duty. "Armenia is capable of challenging even with countries that are 10 times bigger," said he.
On the other hand, NATO Secretary General Rasmussen said that NATO is not seeking any role in the resettlement of Karabakh problem and said, "We support the efforts of OSCE Minsk Group towards resolution of the conflict."
