A conference entitled "Armenian issue of Turkey" held at Bitlis Eren University (BEU). Attending to the conference as the speaker, lecturer M. Torehan Serdar said that Armenian issue keeps Turkey busy since 30 years.
Reminding that the first massacre commited by Armenians against Turkish people was in Kahramanmaras upon the provocation of Russia, England and France, Serdar said, "After the incidents of 1915, Armenians occupied the agenda by assassinating 44 Turkish diplomats in United States and other countries starting from 1980. The first Armenian rebellion was in Kahramanmaras."
According to the report of Beyazgazete.com, Serdar stated that all the plans and projects of the massacres committed by Armenians around the Lake Van were made in the Armenian church in Akdamar Island and said, "There are three sacred places for us; Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem. On the other hand, there are 3 sacred places for Armenians too. But they sanctified those places by the rebellion activities. One of these is the Echmiyazin, which is settled at 30 kilometers distance from Yerevan. Another one is the Armenian church in Akdamar.
