E-mail Print PDF

Normalization of Turkey-Armenia relations ‘impossible’ unless Karabakh problem is solved.

Unless the Nagorno-Karabakh problem is solved, normalization of Turkey-Armenia relations is not possible, said Suat Kiniklioglu, AKP Deputy Chairman of External Affairs.

Kiniklioglu, who also chairs the Turkish-American Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, spoke to a conference titled “Turkey`s Neighborhood Policy and the Middle East” hosted by the Washington-based Middle East Institute.

Kinikoglu said the resolution of the conflict is in interests of not only the sides, but also of Turkey and the whole region.

The Turkish Parliamentarian pointed out that the problem sets an obstacle to peace in the Caucasus.
