Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) group deputy chairman Oktay Vural said, "They want to incriminate Turkish nation with a crime against humanity that it never committed."

Visiting Yalova to attend a conference entitled "Turkey Under the Shadow of Openings", Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) group deputy chairman Oktay Vural commented on the decisions of foreign parliaments regarding to 1915 incidents accusing Turkey of committing a genocide against ethnic Armenians. "The ones who committed atrocities, massacres and genocides against Turkish nation are now trying to incriminate Turks with a crime against humanity that it never committed," said he.

Vural said, "The ones who want to leave a black mark on our nation's history by distorting historical facts should first review their own history. The ones who committed atrocities, massacres and genocides against Turkish nation are now trying to incriminate Turks with a crime against humanity that it never committed. They are making use of this issue for political purposes."
