Gevorg Gevorgyan, Director of National Cinema Center of Armenia, stated that India is interested in production of a movie about so called Armenian genocide which will be prepared for the 100th anniversary of 1915 incidents.
According to the report of PanArmenian news portal, Gevorgyan said that India based Prokash Sharma production center told Armenian producers that they are ready to invest unlimited funds if Armenian side submits the script for a movie that will comply with the international standarts.
Gevorkyan said that foreign script writers are also invited for the project.
Nalbandian thanks Canada for the recognition of so called Armenian genocide
On an official visit to Ottawa, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Speaker of Canadian House of Commons Peter Milliken to discuss Armenian-Canadian relations, interparliamentary relations and the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia.
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian thanked Canadian Parliament over recognition of Armenian allegations regarding to 1915 incidents. Commenting on the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia, Nalbandian said that the process will continue after Turkey respects the agreements and ratifies the protocols without preconditions. Canadian Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon said that Canadia supports efforts towards normalizing Turkish-Armenian relations.
