HBO to air Armenian propaganda

"You Don't Know Jack", a new movie being shot for American TV channel HBO, will include controversial scenes that include Armenian propaganda regarding to 1915 incidents. Turkish Vatan newspaper reported that American actor Al Pacino will irritate his Turkish fans with his role in the new movie of HBO where he will embody an Armenian descent doctor Jack Kevorkian.

Kevorkian, who is known as "Doctor Death", is a supporter of euthanasia although performing it is against the law. Between 1990 and 1998, Armenian descent doctor ended the lives of 130 patients. Kevorkian, who is also a jazz musician, has interest in the paintings.

Turkey compared with Nazi Germany

A painting in the exhibition that is prepared with the paintings of Kevorkian captures attention. The painting, which is shown in a scene in the movie, shows a woman's head in blood being held by two arms; on one of the arms, symbols of "Swastika" and "1945" are drawn while crescent, star, sword and "1915" are drawn on the other arm. Besides the painting, the movie includes dialogues as, "Armenian genocide was not different than what Jewish people experienced. Only our families could narrowly run away."

Speaking to "60 Minutes" TV show, Pacino stated that the role of Jack Kevorkian was one of the best characters he had ever embodied.

Who is Jack Kevorkian?

Jack Kevorkian, a stauch supporter of euthanasia, was born in 1928. Armenian descent American doctor, who seeks legistation for euthanasia responds to criticism of conservative cirlcles as "Death is not a murder". Between 1990 and 1998, Kevorkian, whose medical licence was canceled in 1991, ended the lives of 130 patients.

After law enforcement officiers reached to a video of suicide act of an 52 year old man from New York, Kevorkian was sentenced to 8 years in prison and released in 2007. Late in 2008, Kevorkian, 80, ran for Congress but lost the election with 2.7% of votes.
