Iskandaryan: Turkish-Armenian Process In Stand-By Mode

Armenian Political Expert Alexander Iskandaryan, Director of Caucasus Institute, claimed that the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia is in stand-by mode.

Speaking to press in Yerevan, Iskandaryan said that he believes that there will not be change in the situation of relations between Turkey and Armenia until the general elections in Turkey. "Considering the problems in Turkey and the recent strain in the relations with Israel, it seems that things get harder for Justice and Development Party government," said he.

According to the report of Armenia based Tert.am, "Turkey-Armenia normalization is not possible in near future," expert claimed.
