A group of deputies of the National Assembly of France has arrived on three day visit to Karabakh.
The French parliamentarians will meet with speaker of the National Assembly of separatist "NKR" Ashot Gulyat, deputies of the parliament, as well as the visit of the Society of Amateurs of French culture.
The delegation of the French parliament will visit the Gandzasar monastery Wednesday and meet with representatives of the NGOs of Karabakh and leader of Karabakh separatists Bako Saakyan in the evening.
The French delegation including Arlet Groscost, Pascal Crauson, Richard Mallier, Renault Ruke, Francois Rochbloine, Michelle Difenbacquer, Jean-Pierre Delanoir. They are accompanied by standing representative of "NKR" in France Hovannes Gevorkyan.
Baku May Blacklist French Mps For Visiting Karabakh
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is looking into reports that a group from the French National Assembly has visited separatist Nagorno-Karabakh.
'If the information is confirmed, they may be put on the "black list" of people who are not allowed into Azerbaijan,' Foreign Ministry spokesman Elkhan Polukhov said today.
Armenian media report that Arlette Grosskost, Pascale Crozon, Richard Mallié, René Rouquet, François Rochebloine, Michel Diefenbacher and Jean-Pierre Delannoy made a three-day visit to the self-declared Nagorno-Karabakh republic, where they met separatist leaders.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry on 26 May declared five deputies to the Russian State Duma personae non grata for visiting Karabakh as election monitors.
