Armenian citizens are leaving the country on a mass scale, Representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutiun) Supreme Body Armen Rustamian told the 15th congress of the Body.
The majority of migrants are of middle class, according to Rustamian. He called Armenia the “most dependent” country of the South Caucasus. “Since the collapse of the USSR Armenia has been completely dependent on foreign political and economic factors,” he said. Rustamian did not rule out that Armenia would have to hold extraordinary elections.
