About 350 academician and 500 researcher will contribute the "Turkish-Armenian Relations Throughout History, Armenian Issue and Development Project" with the articles and researches they prepare.
The project which will consist of about 20 volumes will be the broadest source in Turkey over Turkish-Armenian relations and Armenian issue.
The editor of the project Associate Professor Enis Sahin, an official at Armenian Issue Departmant of Turkish Historical Society and lecturer at Sakarya University, stated that the work which will consist of about 20 volumes will include the articles of the scientists from Azerbaijan, Italy, France, United States, Brazil, Argentina, Chili, Georgia and Armenia.
Stating that the scientific work will be prepared as an encyclopaedia, Sahin said, "The project will include several issues like first period of Armenian history, Armenians during the Islamic civilization, Armenians in Byzantium Empire, Armenians in Seljuks, Armenians in Ottoman community life, Armenians in Ottoman bureaucracy, the origin and development of Armenian issue, Armenian immigration, Armenian propaganda and counter-propaganda, Armenian issue in the Western media, Armenian diaspora and lobby, Armenians in Turkish Foreign Policy and proposals towards resolution of Armenian problem, besides a broad analysis of Turkish-Armenian relations in art, culture, language, literature and music."
Enis Sahin stated that the 20 volumes of work will be published in the April of 2011 as a reply to the preparations of Armenian diaspora for the year 2015, 100 years after 1915 incidents.
