Azerbaijan Islamic Party leader Samedov claimed that United States is planning to deploy troops on Azerbaijani territories that are under Armenian occupation. "United States insists on deploying troops in Kelbajar, which is close to Iranian border, under the name of international peace keeping forces," said he.
According to the report of Farshaber news agency, Head of Azerbaijan's Islamic Party Dr. Muhsin Samedov said in an interview that United States is interested in deploying troops in Azerbaijani territory that is under Armenian occupation under the name of international peace keeping forces. "Some part of the Azerbaijani territory that is under Armenian occupation has border with Iran. Therefore, United States wants to deploy troops there," said he.
Claiming that Americans insist on deploying troops in Kelbajar region of Azerbaijan, Samedov said, "They think that doing so they will be able to press Iran."
