E-mail Print PDF

Turkish researches have revealed mass burials in Ardahan, Erzurum and Kars.

CNN-Turk reports that according to the researchers, Armenians murdered Turks in 1918-20. Burials of victims of crimes committed by Armenian armed forces against local population in 1915 were found in the Erzurum city park.

These facts are known to scientific workers but they did not know anything about the place, said the newspaper. The specialists will first dig and exhume the residuals. Only then it will be possible to identify the gender of people, age and cause of death. There may be burials in other places, therefore, the digs will be held in Van, Igdir and other cities.

Meanwhile, according to Anadolu, there is a plan to create a commission to investigate crimes committed by Armenian armed groupings against civilians in 1915.
