Attending to the school-leaving ceremony of Armenian schools in Istanbul, National Education Minister Nimet Cubukcu said that ministry will provide free textbooks in Armenian language for Armenian schools.
Participating the school-leaving ceremony of Armenian schools in Istanbul, Cubukcu became the first Education Minister to make such visit to ethnic Armenian schools. Minister of National Education personally presented the school certificates to the graduates of Armenian schools.
Making a speech during the ceremony, Cubukcu said, "We provide textbooks on Turkish language and culture and we also are about to finish preparations to provide textbooks in Armenian language free of charge. As the preparations end, you will get textbooks published in your mother tongue."
