Visiting French senator Mrs. Goulet Nathalie told journalists that the aim of her visit is to learn more about the plight of refugees and IDPs in Azerbaijan and advise Minsk Group French co-chair about what she saw here.
“The only desire of IDPs is to return home,” she said.
“France is far away from Azerbaijan. That is why we must come here more frequently to inform the French public about the truth. By the way, your country`s ambassador in France, does his best in this direction,” said the senator.
Goulet noted resolution of the conflict is not the matter of today. She pledged to raise French pubilc's awareness about things she saw here.
“I think the time has come for a female to become a member of the Minsk Group. It could speed up the resolution of the conflict,” French senator added.
