Restoration Work Launched at Genocide Museum in Igdir

Genocide Museum in Igdir which was built for the memory of Turkish people massacred by Armenian gangs is being restored. Internethaber.com reported that the museum, which was opened in October 5, 1999, is being restorated with an initiative launched by Special Provincial Administration.

Making a visit to the construction field, Special Provincial Administration General Secretary Ferhat Akkus stated that 118,000 TL funded to the restoration work. The Genocide Museum and Monument, which is also known as "Kiliclar Monument", can be seen from the capital of Armenia, Yerevan. "There were deformations at the walls of the building due to natural factors. The museum will be totally restorated," said Akkus.
