The First Armenian Delegation Visited Van's Chamber of Commerce

The dialogue and cooperation initiative of Van's Chamber of Industry and Commerce (VATSO) by making a visit to Yerevan in May was successful.

A group of 28 people came to visit Van to visit Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The group included members of Yerevan's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, students and officials from Tourism College of Armenia's Ministry of Tourism.

Osman Celik, Vice-chairman of the VATSO's board of directors, stated that the initiative of good will and friendship yielded fruits. "The group, including members of Yerevan's Chamber of Commerce and Industry established contact with our chamber. Together with our guests, we will visit historical and touristic sights in Van. We are hopeful that the process we have initiated will bring positive results. Therefore, we are entertaining our friends from Armenia with Turkish hospitality," said Celik.

The leader of Armenian group and the Director of Tourism College, Arthur Vardaryan expressed their pleasure regarding to the hospitality of VATSO and said, "Armenian and Turkish communities will overcome the negative periods by enhancing the relations and dialogue. We are witnessing the practice of brotherhood of peoples."
