Mayor of Karabuk, Rafet Vergili held a press conference regarding to Armenian genocide allegations.
Stating that Armenians do not spare efforts to keep so called Armenian genocide on the agenda, Vergili said, "With these allegations, they aim to press Turkey and harm Turkey's image in the international community."
Stating that Armenian lobbies conducts a defamation campaign against history of Turkey, Vergili said, "They are urging Turkey to recognize baseless allegations. Even nowadays we witness excavation of the bodies of Turkish people from mass graves who were killed by Armenian gangs. Despite all these facts, efforts of Armenians and pro-Armenian circles to keep so called Armenian genocide on the agenda is the result of their irresoluteness and dishonor."
