Armenian President Holds Talks With Mediators On Karabakh

The meeting of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Robert Bradtke (U.S.) and Bernard Fassier(France) has been completed in St Petersburg.

 The OSCE Minks Group Co-Chairs refused to give any comments on the 40-minute meeting, News.am reported.

 

Thereafter, the mediators met with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. The sides discussed the negotiation process and the Co-Chairs' forthcoming visit to the region in early this July.

 

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan held a joint meeting at the Konstantinovsky Palace in Saint Petersburg on June 17.

 

Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said the sides specified their positions on the controversial issues, which will become the basis for further negotiations.
