Azerbaijani press attaches a great importance to the problem of Turkish Cyprus.
'Azerbaijan has done everything possible for the correct settlement of the Karabakh problem. But not everything depends on us. Turkey, as well as Azerbaijan is unable to implement everything it wants to settle the Karabakh conflict', said Jalal Cem Oguz, head of the Turkish International Center of Strategic Research, speaking at the Center of Strategic Research of the President of Azerbaijan.
As for the reason why Turkish mass media pay so little attention to Azerbaijan, Oguz explained this with extremely wide information and problems that Turkish journalists have to cover every day.
Editor-in-chief of the Hurriyet Daily News&Economic Review David Din Judson and head of the Turkish International Center of Strategic Research are visiting Baku at the invitation of the Center of Strategic Research. Today they have held a round table on “Role of media in the Turkish-Azerbaijani relations”.
