“If Ankara wants to normalize relations without any preconditions, we are ready to move this process forward”, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian said in an interview with Nezavisimaya Gazeta. According to the APA, said this, Armenian Foreign Minister: “It has been told repeatedly not only from Yerevan, but also from Moscow, Brussels, Washington, Paris and other capitals that there can be no linkage between the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and normalization process of Armenian-Turkish relations. Connection of these processes could be detrimental to both processes”, he said.

Foreign Minister stated that “If the Turkish side will now step back and returns to the language of preconditions, try to connect the ratification process with Nagorno Karabakh conflict, it will be clear and flagrant violation of the achieved agreements”. Nalbandian said he did not understand the meaning of Turkish opinions on principle “agreements must be fulfilled” .
