'Next military sabotage of Armenia is not coincidence.
If we remind negotiation process up to this day, then we will see appearances of the same line, same game. Armenia pursues this policy continuously. This time they once more saw the solution by creating intense on the front', said Spokesman for Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu while answering question on 'what is the reason of recent Armenian sabotages on the contact line'.
To him, it seems that St. Petersburg negotiations did not satisfy Serzh Sargsyan and that is why he improved such severe clash: 'There is no doubt that the ceasefire violation on June 18 was instructed by Sargsyan. The essence of his recent statements also proves that we do not do amiss'.
To him, the events show that Armenia is not interested in peaceful solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict: 'They want to delay the settlement of the conflict. That is why, the United States, Russia and France must take more effective measures to prevent Armenia’s such intentions. Otherwise, such clashes may cause war in the entire region. Armenians violated ceasefire 101 times within last month and fired on positions of Azerbaijan Army'.
Sabiroglu spoke about other factors as well:
'OSCE mission conducts monitoring once a month on the contact line. Soon after the monitoring, Armenian armed forces begin to violate ceasefire again. Such cases happen during the monitoring as well. Armenians violated ceasefire 13 times within twenty-four hours. Of course, Azerbaijani Army cannot turn a blind eye to such cases. Recent event showed that as long as Armenia continues its sabotages it will receive more severe replies'.
