Turkish Language Society Invites Turkish-Armenian Writer to Strategical Meeting

Turkish Language Society, invited Turkish writer of Armenian origin, Sevan Nishanyan to the meeting that is held for preparing the strategy of the institution for the following 5 years. Agop Martayan, the first Secretary General of the Turkish Language Society, was invited to the first Turkish Language Conference which was held in the presidency of Ataturk. Nishanyan became the second ethnic Armenian to be invited to the meeting after long years.

 

Prof. Dr. Haluk Akalin, Chairman of the Turkish Language Society, said that they found the views of Nishanyan beneicial. "We will invite the expert also for the following meetings of the institution, said Akalin. Nishanyan was also eager to attend the following meetings of Turkish Language Society (TLS). Besides Nishanyan, Feyza Hepcilingirler, Mustafa Serif Onaran, Aysenur Yazici and many other experts attended to the meeting.
