Exhibition About Atrocity of Armenian Gangs Launched in Nigde

Federation of Turkish Journalists and Nigde's Society of Journalists launched an exhibition of photos regarding to atrocity of Armenians in Azerbaijan. The exhibition in the City's Center of Culture will last for three days. The exhibition was opened by Nigde's Governor Alim Barut and Mayor Faruk Akdogan with a ceremony.

 

Ahmet Oncu, Director of Nigde's Society of Journalists, said that Armenians did not limit the massacres with Anatolia only but they also massacred people in Caucasus and Azerbaijan. "The years 1919-1920 and 1992 were the most bitter for the people of Azerbaijan", Oncu said, "They committed massacres in Guba, Shamahi, Gence and Khojaly. About 30,000 Azerbaijani-Turk were massacred in Baku. They demolished 58 villages in Shamahi. 7 thousand people were killed. 122 villages in Guba and more than 150 villages in Upper Karabakh were demolished. They committed massacres in 115 villages of Zengezur. They burned down the houses and massacred people. On February 26, 1992, Armenian armed forces committed a genocide in Khojaly. They killed 613 Azerbaijani Turks. Among them were 106 woman and 83 children."

 

The photo-exhibition entitled "Armenian Atrocity in Azerbaijan" will be open till June 27th.
