In the case the relations the US and Iranian relations are spoiled, the United States will need Azerbaijan’s help in some geopolitical situation. In this case, the provision of airdromes for US aviation or the wish to use Azerbaijan’s territory for any other goals might be implied here'.
The political scientist said that when speaking about it the United States cannot ignore Azerbaijan’s concerns regarding Karabakh conflict.
'This means they will try to put a direct or indirect influence on the process. As is known, Medvedev visited the United States several days ago, taking a tour round California and having meetings with the business elite and met Barack Obama.
Thus, after the meeting they held a news conference reporting on the restart of the relations.
