"Outside Powers Stand Behind Those Armed Incidents On The Frontline Of Azerbaijani And Armenian Armies"

E-mail Print PDF

Azerbaijani political expert Vafa Guluzade believes, that the armed incidents that occured on the frontline of Azerbaijani and Armenian armies were iniciated by the outside powers, which are concerned by the growing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the West. Guluzade also states, that these incidents are some sort of a reaction to the visit of Robert Gates to Azerbaijan, and the upcoming visit of Hillary Clinton to Baku.

"As of now, there are ongoing talks of placing a military base here in Azerbaijan, which will be carrying out air transportations to Afghanistan. Plus, by the end of this year, Azerbaijan is to sign a deal on the Nabucco pipeline project. All these events prove, that outside powers want to stop Azerbaijan's development, and its cooperation with Europe and U.S. I believe, more of the same (armed incidents) should be expected from Armenian army.", Guluzade explained.
