Armenia holds a conference in Yerevan to design an action plan for the events and initiatives for international recognition of Armenian allegations regarding 1915 incidents for the 100th anniversary of so called Armenian genocide. The conference entitled "Genocide of Armenians - Mets Yeghern - 100th Year Anniversary: Fronier for Justice" is organized by World Armenian Congress, Armenia's Ministry of Diaspora and National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.

Armenian news portal Aysor reported Chairman of National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, Radik Martirosyan as saying, "Armenian President said during the 95th year anniversary that Armenia should begin planning events and initiatives for the 100th anniversary from today. Although "Genocide Museum" has already made the planning, conference plays an important role."

According to the reports of various Armenian sources, the issues that are being discussed at the conference are;

1 - Necessity of a conceptual program that will support efforts to give a new impetus towards international recognition and condemnation of so called Armenian genocide

2 - Applying international courts for recognition of so called Armenian genocide

3 - Establishment of committees, foundations and expert teams for coordination and implementation of the "conseptual program" and for the preparation of the documents for applying international courts.

 It is reported that politicians and community figures from Armenia, Syria, Germany, United States and Lebanon are attending to the conference.
