Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) and Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA); leading Armenian diaspora organizations in United States made different evaluations regarding US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's visit to so called Armenian "genocide" memorial in Yerevan.

AAA evaluated the visit as "insufficient" but also thanked Clinton for her visit to "genocide" monument while ANCA criticized Clinton because she did not make a statement recognizing Armenian allegations regarding 1915 incidents in Ottoman Empire.

Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) Chairman Hirair Hovnanian expressed his pleasure over Clinton's visit and said, "It was a symbollic and praiseworthy move." He said that Clinton's visit was a step towards international recognition of so called Armenian genocide. "It was also a step to put a stop to injustice," added he.

Executive Director of the AAA Bryan Ardouny also praised Clinton's visit and claimed that the visit will accelerate efforts for providing international recognition of Armenian allegations. Ardouny said that AAA will keep its determination regarding international recognition of so called Armenian genocide also in the 95th anniversary of 1915 incidents.

On the other hand, Chairman of Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) Aram Hamparian evaluated the visit of Clinton as a missed opportunity for U.S. Secretary of State and United States. He said that United States continued to share Turkey's "guilt" of denying so called Armenian genocide.
