Armenian Opposition: US Didn't Evaluate Turkey as an Eastern European Country

Head of the oppositional Heritage parliamentary faction in Armenian Parliament, Stepan Safaryan commented on the regional tour of U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

 Drawing attention on the list of the countries that Clinton recently visited, Safaryan said that United States did not consider Turkey as an Eastern European country.

According to the report of Armenian Azg newspaper, head of the oppositional Heritage parliamentary faction Stephan Safaryan commented on the visit of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to so called Armenian genocide memorial in Yerevan. Stressing that Clinton did not include Turkey in her tour in the region, Safaryan said that United States did not consider Turkey as an Eastern European country.

Evaluating Clinton's visit to "genocide" memorial as "very exhibitionist", Safaryan said that United States is very fragile regarding the policy that Turkey follows.
