Igdir’s Organization for Fighting Against Baseless Armenian Allegations (ASIMDER) protested U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s visit to so called Armenian genocide monument in Armenia.

Director of the Igdir based organization, Goksel Gulbey sent a black wreath to American Embassy in Ankara and a protest letter to US Secretary Hillary Clinton.

Gulbey said that they appreciated Clinton’s efforts to prevent passage of the Armenian bill in the Foreign Affairs Committee of US House of Representatives. "But her visit to “genocide” memorial in Yerevan was disappointing", Gulbey said to Clinton, “Your attitude against the passage of Armenian bill in the House and your attitude during your visit to Armenian capital, conflict with each other.”

Stating that Clinton’s visit to “genocide” memorial was a blow to process of implemetion of Turkey-Armenia protocols, Director of ASIMDER said, “We believe, you owe an apology to the people of Turkey and Azerbaijan.”
