Armenian, Turkish NGOs to Discuss Armenia-Turkey Rapprochement

Turkish Zaman referred to the possible opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, a topic more frequently raised after Clinton’s regional visit.

The source says the civil society has intensified its activity to normalize ties with Armenia. Thus, the confederation of a number of NGOs in 35 provinces of Turkey is planning to meet with similar organizations of the Armenian side to contribute to Armenia-Turkey rapprochement.

From July 28 - August 1, they will meet in Turkey to discuss issues related to normalization of political, trade relations between two countries.
