Turkey-Armenia Youth Symphony Orchestra gave a concert in Istanbul on Friday night. Formed by 65 young Turkish and Armenian musicians, the orchestra took stage at Istanbul's Cemal Resit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall.
Nvart Andreassian and Cem Mansur conducted the orchestra during the concert organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) and the Bogazici University with the support of the Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency.
Young musicians aged between 18 and 23 performed works of Beethoven, Bizet, Ulvi Cemal Erkin, Aram Khachaturian and Bedrich Smetana.
