Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia meet in Almaty

The meeting of the Elmar Mammadyarov and Edward Nalbandian with the foreign ministers of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing states has ended. No declaration for press was made by results of the meeting, reports Trend.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, France’s Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner and US Deputy Secretary of State James Stainberg attend the meeting.

The Nagorno Karabakh conflict is discussed in the meeting.

Azerbaijani and Armenian FMs Elmar Mammadyarov and Edward Nalbandian are expected to discuss Nagorno Karabakh issue at the council of the OSCE foreign ministers.

'Kazakhstan supports the Russian president Dmitriy Medvedev’s efforts about the regulation of Nagorno Karabakh conflict', Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbayev told in the informal meeting of the OSCE foreign ministers, Almaty.

He also noted that he would try to solve the prolonged problems during his chairmanship of OSCE.
