If Armenia does not withdraw from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, a very complicated situation will appear in the region, and the responsibility will fall on Armenia, the head of the press service of Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan Eldar Sabiroglu said at the celebration of the 135th anniversary of the national press in Azerbaijan.
Regarding the return of the body of the deceased ensign of Azerbaijani Army Mubariz Ibrahimov, Sabiroglu said that with the help of the International Committee of the Red Cross, many appeals have been made to the Armenian side, but the Armenian side at first said that the body is in the Azerbaijani side of the location of troops, but now, responding to requests of the Red Cross, it says that the dead body is not in Nagorno-Karabakh or Armenia.
Thus, according to Sabiroglu, the Armenian side is trying to hide the dead body, and this action does not correspond to any humanitarian, human norms, and that Armenia can be a very bad precedent and see the same attitude towards itself in future.
"We are confident that we will get results in the return of the dead body of ensign Ibragimov. If this does not happen, it will once again prove the inhuman actions of the government and military circles of Armenia."
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an decree to award Azerbaijani National Hero Ibrahimov Mubariz (posthumously) for outstanding service and bravery, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The President decided to perpetuate the memory of Azerbaijani National Hero Ibrahimov Mubariz by signing another decree. The Azerbaijani President instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to assign his name to one of Bilasuvar secondary schools and one of the streets in Bilasuvar region.
