Turkish Cihan reported that after the incident Yilmaz has appealed to the police saying attack was committed by Armenians.
According to Yilmaz, he argued with an Armenian because the latter spoke abusively to Turkey. On the same day in the evening, someone attacked the Turk, robbed him and caused injuries to him.
“The unknown attacked him from the back and escaped after taking away his bag. There were $10,000, identity documents and credit cards in the bag. He took away everything. It might have been organized by the Armenian I argued with. However, it was dark and I could not see the criminal’s face. I appealed to the police”, Yilmaz said adding there is one more arrested on this incident.
