Caucasus Muslims Spiritual Leader Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade intends to appeal to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill for help to return the Azerbaijani Army's ensign Mubariz Ibrahimov's dead body.
"I intend to raise the issue of assistance in the return of the dead body of the Azerbaijani Army's ensign during the meeting with the patriarch in the near future," Pashazade told journalists today.
Azerbaijani Armed Forces ensign Ibrahimov Mubariz showed heroism in an armed incident at the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops June 18, killing four and wounding four Armenian servicemen.
