“Armenian Defense Ministry expressed concern over the interviews of the Armenians, who fled from Armenia and crossed into the Azerbaijani side, the ministry issued an official statement about it,” deputy press secretary of the Defense Ministry Teymur Abdullayev told APA.

According to Teymur Abdullayev, the statement says that interviewing captives under pressure contradicts the international conventions and they will appeal to the international organizations in connection with it.

“The Armenians, who are in the Azerbaijani side, are not tortured or exerted pressure unlike in Armenia. They continue living normally. On the other hand, the Armenians, who are in the Azerbaijani side have opportunity to follow written and e-media. They protest against the fact that National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov’s body has not been returned for about two months and regard it as inhumane. It is Armenia that violates the international conventions. A question arises: Aren’t Armenians claim that they do not have Mubariz Ibrahimov’s body and post the photos of his body on the Internet? Armenian lie and slyness have left them in plight again,” he said.

Armenian Defense Ministry has said that interviewing of the Armenian servicemen, who deserted and crossed into the Azerbaijani side, is the violation of the international conventions by Azerbaijan.
