E-mail Print PDF

"Russia is directly involved into the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict", Russian political expert Vitaly Dymarski believes.

According to him, "everything that's happening in Southern Caucasus concerns Russia. And especially a conflict, such as Nagorno-Karabakh.

"Karabakh conflict has lots of locks and just as much keys. I agree that one of those keys is in Moscow. Russia plays an important part in resolving the conflict, but not the main one. The main players here are Armenia and Azerbaijan," said Dymarski.

Speaking of the pressure policy, Dymarski said: "As far as pressure goes, the only side that can experience that is Armenia. Russia has everything necessary to put pressure on it. Although, I think, it will not be 100% effective. As far as Azerbaijani side goes, Russia does not have enough tools to put pressure on Baku."

Expert also added, that in his opinion, "both sides better stick to negotiation process. Azerbaijan should not go for the military solution."
