Yerevan Confirms That Bodies Of Azerbaijani Officers Are In Armenia

Armenia confirmed that the bodies of Azerbaijani officers Mubariz Ibrahimov and Farid Ahmadov are in Armenia.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is working between Azerbaijan and Armenia to return 8 prisoners of war, 6 civilians, two bodies and an Armenian citizen, whose status has not been identified yet.

This issue was discussed during the ICRC head of operations for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Pascale Meige Wagner’s visit to Azerbaijan, ICRC spokesperson in Baku Ilaha Huseynova said.

During the Wagner’s visit, Armenia confirmed that the bodies of Azerbaijani officers Mubariz Ibrahimov and Farid Ahmadov are in Armenia.

Ensign Mubariz Ibrahimov and Farid Ahmadov were killed on June 18 and September 4 in the Terter frontline while repulsing the Armenians’ attack. Ibrahimov was honored with a title of National Hero by the order of President Ilham Aliyev.
