Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Micheline Calmy-Rey confirmed that Turkey and Armenia have renewed talks suspended last year.
According to Hurriyet, this confirms information about conduction of silent diplomacy, spoken of by Turkish Premier Abdullah Gul.
It is also reported that the Swiss party is holding an active work in this direction.
The newspaper cites President Abdullah Gul that Turkey prefers silent but active diplomacy at the current stage.
