The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, mediating a settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, have met President Ilham Aliyev.
The mediators - Robert Bradtke of the USA, Bernard Fassier of France and Igor Popov of Russia - travelled to Nakhchivan this morning to meet the Azerbaijani leader, Lider TV reported.
Ilham Aliyev is visiting the exclave, which is cut off from the rest of Azerbaijan by Armenian territory.
After the meeting, the mediators are to travel to the Armenian capital Yerevan from Nakhchivan.
Tomorrow they are to visit the Karabakh capital, Khankandi, and there will decide on the timing of their field assessment mission to the districts around Karabakh occupied by Armenia.
The field assessment mission, the first to these districts in five years, will end on 13 October.
