Baku To Host Dialogue Of Azerbaijani, Armenian Movies

Azerbaijan Media Centre will tomorrow host demonstration of Azerbaijani and Armenian films demonstrated to be followed with subsequent discussion in Baku. The event is titled "Dialogue of movies - demonstration of documentary films."

The project was put forward by the Society for Humanitarian Research and is funded by "European cooperation for the solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict", the British organization of resources for reconciliation within the EU project

 

A film Azerbaijan titled “Kamancha-name” jointly produced by young filmmakers from Armenia and Azerbaijan will be displayed at the event. 

The event will also feature demonstration of a film about Azerbaijani who lost his sight during the Karabakh war and who now teaches at the Azerbaijan University of Languages and a film about a soldier who now lives in Nagorno-Karabakh. The demonstration of films will be followed by debates over the work done and the project.
