'Karabakh issue should be solved peacefully.'

The Karabakh issue should be solved peacefully, taking immediate measures to restore confidence between the conflicting parties, Slovenian President Danilo Turk told a press conference on Monday.

According to him, the idea of a “frozen conflict” is rather relative, it can be “frozen” at any time. “Therefore, the Karabakh conflict should be solved as quick as possible. The key to the conflict resolution is the restoration of confidence between the parties,” Turk stressed.

He urged all the players, including Turkey to be very attentive and fully support confidence building in the Karabakh conflict zone.

As reported previously, Danilo Turk is on an official visit to Armenia. The large delegation of 25 Slovenian businessmen, led by Turk will participate in the Armenia-Slovenia business forum in Yerevan.
